Golden Brook Farm looks down over a patchwork of ploughed furrows and sage-green pasture, where a stone farmhouse and timber barn settle into the folds of the valley beside a winding brook. Thick ridges of burnt orange and umber are built up with a palette knife, catching the last light of a lilac-pink dusk, while ducks drift quietly on the water below. A hedgerow heavy with autumn leaves frames the whole scene, drawing the eye through to the glow on the horizon.
This gentle rural view suits a living room wall above a sofa or sideboard, and works equally well in a hallway or study where its warm palette can settle into daily life. Each piece is hand-painted to order by our artists, supplied as a rolled canvas or framed, in a choice of sizes.
