Ballgown at the Piano draws the eye through a vast, candlelit ballroom where a lone woman in an ivory gown sits at a white grand piano, dwarfed by soaring arched windows and a glittering chandelier overhead. Thick strokes of gold, amber and warm brown build up the gleaming parquet floor, its reflections rippling beneath her, while deep evening blue glows through the glass beyond. The mood is hushed and romantic, as though the music has paused mid-note and the whole golden room is listening.
This painting suits a grand living room wall or a wide hallway where its scale and warmth can unfold, bringing quiet drama above a sofa or along a staircase run. Every piece is hand-painted to order by our artists, supplied as a rolled canvas or framed, and available in a choice of sizes to suit your space.
