Golden Surf at Dawn fills the canvas with a close, tumbling view of turquoise waves caught in the first light of morning. Thick ridges of paint capture the foam as it curls and breaks, while streaks of gold, soft pink and lavender ripple across the water's surface. There's no horizon in sight, just the restless energy of the sea itself, rendered in a mood that feels fresh, bright and quietly awakening.
With its bold texture and sense of movement, this piece works beautifully as living room art above a sofa or sideboard, and its calming palette also suits bedroom wall art for a restful focal point. Each canvas is hand-painted to order by our artists using a rich palette knife technique, available as a rolled canvas or framed canvas art in a choice of sizes.
