Confetti Blossom Tree looks straight up into a canopy bursting with magenta, gold, turquoise and coral petals, each one built up with thick, knife-applied oils so the colour seems to lift off the canvas. Set against a soft pastel blue-grey sky, the blossoms scatter diagonally across the composition as if caught mid-air on a gust of wind. The off-centre trunk and upward angle give the whole scene a joyful, tumbling energy, like confetti thrown skyward.
With its rich bursts of colour and lively texture, this piece works beautifully as living room art above a sofa or as a bold focal point in a wide hallway. Every canvas is hand-painted to order by our artists at Gallery 23, available as a rolled canvas or framed canvas art in a choice of sizes.
