Scarlet Rain Dance captures a woman mid-twirl, her scarlet gown flung outward as rain lashes down around her in heavy diagonal streaks. Built up with thick, confident palette knife strokes, the canvas moves between charcoal grey, slate blue and deep red, with soft ivory highlights catching the wet light. Her face is tilted upward to the sky, arms raised, giving the whole scene a sense of freedom and quiet defiance against the storm.
With its bold red and grey palette, this piece suits a living room wall above a sofa or sideboard, where its drama has room to breathe, and it works equally well as striking bedroom wall art. Each canvas is hand-painted to order by our own artists, available rolled or framed, and offered in a choice of sizes to suit your space.
