White Blooms in Rain traces a slender stem of soft white blossoms as it arcs across a muted field of grey and charcoal, rain streaking down behind it in gentle vertical washes. Flecks of warm taupe and ochre glow faintly through the damp palette, while petals drift loose in the lower third as if just caught by a breeze. There's a tender, quietly melancholic feel to the piece, built up with rich palette-knife texture against thin, misty washes.
This gentle, softly toned piece suits a bedroom wall, bringing a calm note above a headboard or dressing table, and works equally well in a hallway or reading nook where its quiet detail can be studied up close. Each painting is hand-painted to order by our artists on canvas, available as a rolled canvas or framed canvas art, and offered in a choice of sizes.
