Jagger captures the musician's face in bold strokes of red, black and white, built up with heavy palette-knife textures that give the portrait real presence. Thick ridges of paint form the tousled hair and sharp cheekbones, while drips and splashes across the background add energy and a raw, graphic edge. The mood is striking and intense, with a confident gaze that holds the eye.
