This is our own hand-painted version after Vincent van Gogh's famous Irises, painted in 1889. Deep blue and violet irises crowd together above rust-coloured soil, their green leaves curling in thick, energetic strokes, while one pale white bloom stands apart from the rest. Behind them, a border of marigolds glows in warm orange against soft turquoise ground, giving the whole scene a lively, sun-warmed mood.
With its rich blues and earthy oranges, this piece suits a living room above a sofa or a hallway wanting a bold splash of colour, and it works equally well in a home office needing a calm, natural focus. Each canvas is hand-painted to order by our artists, available unframed or framed, and in a choice of sizes.
