Dark Orchard Still Life gathers a wicker basket of pears, figs and blackberries into a pool of warm light, set against a near-black background that makes every colour glow. Plum skins, golden amber pears and deep burgundy figs catch the light in rich, glazed layers, while a single apple rests apart on the wooden table among scattered autumn leaves. The overall effect is hushed and quietly opulent, with shadow doing as much work as colour.
This would suit a dining room wall or a kitchen with warm tones, and works equally well above a sideboard in a hallway. Each piece is hand-painted to order by our artists, available as a rolled canvas or framed canvas art, in a choice of sizes.
