Mustard Weathering is an abstract study of a surface worn down by time, where a rich band of mustard yellow pushes up through cracked layers of cream and dusty lilac-grey. Faint rust marks flicker through the plaster-like texture, and the diagonal cracks running through the piece give it a quiet, contemplative sense of erosion. There's a rustic calm to the whole composition, as though the paint itself has settled over years rather than been applied in one sitting.
The warm earthiness of this abstract wall art suits a living room art arrangement above a sofa or sideboard, though it also brings a grounded, textural warmth to bedroom wall art above a bed or chest of drawers. Every canvas is hand-painted to order by our artists, available as a rolled canvas or framed canvas art in a choice of sizes.
