Einstein captures the physicist's unmistakable shock of white hair and steady, thoughtful gaze, rendered in thick, textured strokes of grey, blue and soft ochre. The loose impasto brushwork across his jacket and the background gives the portrait warmth and energy, while his expression remains calm and contemplative.
This piece suits a home office or study, where its intelligent presence encourages quiet focus, and works equally well in a hallway as a striking focal point. Each canvas is hand-painted to order by our artists, available as a rolled canvas or ready framed, in a choice of sizes.
