Indigo Stitch builds a diagonal band of looping, thread-like marks that cross the canvas as though a length of dark indigo cord has been pressed and dragged through pale plaster. The ground is worked in chalky white and soft dove grey, scraped and dry-brushed so the surface catches the light, while the loops deepen to near-navy where they cluster most densely at the centre. There's a quiet, rhythmic calm to it, like watching a repeated hand gesture settle into pattern.
The muted, tonal palette suits a hallway or a reading nook, and works especially well as abstract wall art above a sofa or bed where its texture can be appreciated up close. Each piece is hand-painted to order by our artists, available as a rolled canvas or framed canvas art in a choice of sizes, ready for living room art or bedroom wall art alike.
