Lion of Words settles a magnificent lion across a tower of weathered leather-bound books, his gaze steady and unhurried within the glow of an old wood-panelled library. Warm amber, ochre and burnt sienna mingle with deep forest green and soft gold, catching the light from a nearby lamp as loose pages drift through the air. The whole scene carries a regal, scholarly calm, as though the room itself has paused to watch him rest.
This rich, atmospheric piece suits a study or library, above a leather sofa, or anywhere you want a touch of quiet grandeur, such as a panelled hallway or a generous living room wall. Each canvas is hand-painted to order by our artists, available as a rolled canvas or framed, in a choice of sizes to suit large canvas wall art settings.
