Rainlit Avenue Embrace looks down from a high balcony onto a couple wrapped close beneath a single dark umbrella, tucked into the lower corner of a long curving avenue lined with bare autumn trees. Wet cobbles catch the glow of amber street lamps in muted slate grey, olive and rust tones, while distant rooftops fade softly into the dusk. The mood is quiet and tender, touched with a gentle melancholy that lingers in the damp evening air.
Its hushed, romantic colours and intimate scale make it a lovely choice above a sofa, along a staircase wall or as bedroom wall art where soft evening tones can settle a room. Each piece is hand-painted to order by our artists, supplied as a rolled canvas or framed, and available in a choice of sizes.
